What would it be, a life without
choices? If we had our life programmed like a robot , sometimes life
would
be
easier. However, such a life without choices would be a life without
dreams.
Thank God we have our choices, some small without
much importance but
others can be life changing that bring us happiness or misfortune.
I
choose to write about this theme because I had to make some difficult
choices in my life and I always have difficulty making them.
I had the choice of coming the United States or staying in the
land where I was born and grew up. I decided to leave everything
behind,
my
family and friends, so that I could have a better life financially.
This way I could help my mother and my father, the people that
I love,
when they need money. However, when they need love or when they
need a
hug, I'm not there, I'm miles away.
Did I make the right choice?
What would my life be like if I had made a different choice?
If I had
stayed in my country, would I be happier? Maybe I would have
won the
lottery and would be with the people that I love. Or maybe I
would have
been unhappy, and would have seen my parents sick and not have
any money
for their medicine.
Still today I ask myself if I made the right choice...
Do we always make
the right choice? |
