Do the Write Thing

I'm Dreaming

M. Sanduijav

I'm standing in Peace Street in Mongolia. There are many buildings around me. I'm front of the State Department Store, which is one of Mongolia's biggest stores, like a mall. There are foods, jewels, many different fashion clothes, electronic equipment, furniture and souvenirs. All people like this store, but it's more expensive than other stores. I see many apartments, trees, fountains, a circus and mountains. The mountain is protected by law because it's a national park. The mountain has many kinds of trees, flowers, bushes, birds and animals. The altitude is about 2500 meters above sea level.

It's a very nice sunny day. There're a few white clouds in the sky. The wind is blowing a little bit. It's giving me a nice feeling. There're some people walking on the sidewalk, some people sitting on a long bench near a fountain. Children are playing by the water. There're many cars and people flowing along the street because it's 6.10 pm and people have finished their jobs.

I see a man and a woman. They're very happy and laughing. They sit below a street light. I smell a little water because I'm standing near a fountain. The fountain has a memorial statue in it. The fountain's pool is full with water and it's sprinkled by the water. The water drops look like a rainbow in the sunlight. A few leaves are floating on the water in the fountain.

It is fall time. Leaves are falling and it's getting cold. But it's not too cold or hot. Many people like this time.

People are going to the circus with their children. Now the Russian circus is playing there. The Russian circus is popular, with lions and elephants. This is the largest circus arena in Mongolia. It's about a thousand seats. I like a circus. I often used to watch a circus when I was a child. I was living near the circus.

Some people are eating dinner in a restaurant, and some people are drinking beer outside of the Irish pub next a restaurant. The Irish pub cooks delicious foods and has good beer. There're many people in restaurants and pubs because today is Friday. Many people like the evening of Friday because they're going to rest for two days.

Now it's getting dark in Ulaanbaatar so some people are going home to rest but other people are leaving home to begin the night life.

Life flows on.
