Have you heard about a dream reading? Dream reading is interpreting contents of a dream associated with future. It is considered common tradition in my country. Not only Korea but also many other countries believe it. We can even find this in the Bible. I'm not sure how can I call this. Tradition? or Superstition? But I think it is closer to tradition than superstition.

There are some books about dream reading. If we see a specific thing in a dream, we can find in the book which that dream means. Or we can visit professional dream readers. There is a tendency to interpret a dream as good fortune rather than bad fortune. And the way of interpreting a dream is differ with individuals, countries and customs. In my country, if we see a pig in a dream we believe it indicates a good fortune so if someone sees a pig in a dream, he may buy a lottery next day. If you see a pile of dung or you are buried under dung, these are extremely good dream. However if you felt unpleasant when you touched it or avoid it, you may suffer a loss on your property. Clean water and overflow also indicate good fortune. You may achieve your desire. If you take a bath in your dream, sick person will be recover from illness and escape from anxiety. Dragon is also one kind of good dreams. If it comes home in your dream, it means you would be success. In addition, mirror , rice, money, snake and flying dreams are good dreams, too.

However, also there are some dreams that indicate a bad fortune. If your tooth is taken in your dream, it predicts someone will die around you. Upper part of tooth means senior will die and opposite means junior. If you see a flood and muddy water in your dream, you may have trouble and you would be sick. There are many specific things indicating bad fortune. For example, food dream related with disease and rain related with gamble and alcohol. Transportation such as car or subway means travel or death.

There is another kind of dream reading. A dream of forthcoming conception is that. When someone pregnant, they see some specific things in a dream like fruits or money. Actually my mother saw a beautiful peach tree in her dream when she pregnant me. Usually they see the dream themselves but sometimes their family sees that dream instead of them.

Dream used by material to inform an important matter in many legends and stories regardless of the East or the West from long time ago. Every people have a dream. If we can interpret a dream, miraculously we can foretell our fortune and it helps our daily life a lot.
