Jane's Fall

Jie Zhu

Fall is a cold and colorful season in New England. It's also the most favorite season in Jane's perspective. Jane, under a delicate yellow hairstyle with hair up, twinkled with green lake color eyes. Out of the train window, there is a country scene varied with yellow, red and green color. Oh, it is a good time to see the fall foliage! The multi-colors brightened Jane's gloomy mood, cheered her up a little bit. Yes, she was upset. She had enough reason to be in a blue mood. She is thirty-five years old. She has a wonderful son who is 10 years old. But, she just divorced last month. Last 10 years, she was a housewife. What should she do with lack of 10 years work experience? What will she get? She should be strong. The most wonderful boy in the world needs her support. As a mother, life doesn't allow her to cry. She should move on and be a strong mom. She should adjust her low morale to welcome a new life.

Out of the train window, in the scenery appeared a city outline. That means her goal will arrive soon. "It's time to forget the unhappy past. The new life will begin!" Jane takes a deep breath to become a new person. She opens her beautiful eyes to look at the new city intently. After a long train whistle, the train stopped. A beautiful woman with a handsome little boy get off the train at New York City.
