Do the Write Thing

Together Apart

Diane Fulton

This poem is dedicated to my daughter who passed away six years ago. It's called:

Together Apart

A time of life, a way to see
How much you meant to me.
We laughed, we cried but
Somehow we tried to be
What we wanted to be.

Life has passed for one of us
You've taken that ride on the golden bus
I laugh, I cry but somehow I try
To be what you wanted me to be.
