I'M ASKING FOR A DREAM

Soletude

Inspired by my daughters dream

I want to be born again,
from here where I'm now.
I see the external world and I want to cry.
How sad is that!
My eyes are tired already...
From seeing a lot.
It's not the life and the world that
I had dreamed.
This has to be with my people.
My people are losing everything that you gave us.
My people are being cruel with the most innocent creatures that you had created.
I'm asking... they weren't the same, like me?
I'm asking for something that is so simple and don't need them too much time to think it over.
I'm asking for a dream.
A dream that makes us happy and equal.
I dream to see everyday on the sky, a rainbow and at night to see the splendorous color of the moon.
I don't want to cry anymore,
I want to join the life.
I want to fly and to play with the clouds making my fantasy a reality
