Eid al Adha

Reem

Eid al Adha is a very special day in my life. It is a religious celebration for all Muslims. On this day every Muslim who has money can buy an animal like a sheep, cow or camel and sacrifice it. People do this to remember Father Abraham when he had a dream about sacrificing his son. He believed that dream was from God, so he brought his son and put a knife in his son's neck, but God sent a sheep to the place of his son. So on this day I remember how much Abraham obeyed the God even though he loved his son. Because he believed that God wanted the best for him and for his son, he decided to do it. Also this day reminds me about the mercy and the kindness of God, and how patient Abraham's son was because he obeyed his father without complaining.
