Do the Write Thing

Moon Tale

Marcia dos Santos

High in the sky, the moon exists
Living alone in her sad world
One day, she looked to the earth
Trying to find a love for her.

Then the sea, cold and without care
Also was tired to be alone,
Felt on the water the brightest touch
And he fell in love,

Light of the night, make the sun sleep
Show how much I love you

If this tale of the moon
Makes you laugh or suffer
The heart is the only one Who Knows

If the moon touches the sea
She can touch us
Just to let us know
Love can never be gone.
