Do the Write Thing

Can't Speak Up

I work at The Maids Home Services. I clean six houses a day for this company. There are a lot of employees in this company, and most of them are from Guatemala.

Everyday I use a vacuum on my back, and sometimes there are two of us vacuuming. Four or three of us work together cleaning six houses a day. We mop all kitchen and bathroom floors on our knees, which is obilgatory. The new people earn the same as I. I have been working for this company for four years. It is a very difficult and low paying job. I am very tired at the end of the day.

I would like to speak up for my rights and earn more money becuase I have four years of experience now. However, I might get fired and I need a job and money. So I can't speak up for my rights.
