Do the Write Thing

My New Life in God's Hands

Yesenia Alfaro

I want to tell a little part of my life, how it changed after I made a decision to open my heart to receive Jesus Christ in my life. My best friend started to go to church. Many times, she invited me. I didn't go. She shared with me some experiences that she had, and finally I went with her to the church.

Five years ago I became a Christian evangelical. My life changed since that day. I always said I was born again. God changed my family's lives in many ways. Our lives are in God's hands. My marriage was almost destroyed, but I prayed to God and He saved it. I am free to say God is real, is love, is merciful, is kind. God is everything in my life. My mission is to tell everybody that God is real. God is alive and He wants everybody to know him.

I can't imagine myself without God. I'm proud of myself because I am teaching my kids about God. This way is not easy but I'm sure if I finish, I will have eternal life.
