The Person Who Means the Most to Me

The person who means the most to me is my daughter Abigail. She is nine and she means the world to me. The reasons why she is the most meaningful person to me is because she has made me a better person. She's a funny little girl, and she's my miracle baby My daughter has made me a better person in so many ways. For example, before I had my daughter, not that I didn't care, but I always made bad decisions. I would cut school to hang out with my friends and never go to class. I also wasn't thinking before I did anything. Without her I wouldn't be going to my GED classes or even doing this essay. I have learned how to
make better decisions because she looks up to me and my decisions affect her. Without her I would have really messed up my life.

I think she is very funny to me because she is always making me and everyone else laugh. She is just like her father, always trying to make people laugh. She is one of those people who can't see you sad. She always says, "Turn that frown into a smile." Every time she sees me sad she starts acting like a little clown just to see me laugh. For example, she would start making funny or ugly faces. She would also start telling jokes that make no sense at all.

Another reason would be that she's my miracle baby. Why I say that would be because I almost lost her twice in my life. The first was when I was five months pregnant. I was with my brother. We were taking a walking in the park, and out of nowhere it seem that I would miscarry. So my brother took me to the hospital, and the doctor checked the baby and me. He said that the cause of the bleeding was too much walking, so he put me on bed rest for the next four months.

I almost lost her a second time was when she was one year old. She used to get seizures. She got them for almost two years. I was so depressed that whole time. When she had the first attack, the doctor told me she might not make it. I totally freaked out; I didn't know what to do. So I prayed and now I thank God everyday for my miracle baby. She is nine years old and she is happy to be alive and so am I. She has taught me that life is worth living and to live life to the fullest.
