Do the Write Thing

In Memory of My Mother!!

Sheily Ayuso

She was a good daughter, good sister, good wife and especially a good mother. She always watched over her children. She made sure everyone else had what he or she needed before her needs. Even when she got sick, she still looked out for others so much so that she became very ill and passed away. Maybe that's why we all miss her so much.

I wonder why God takes good people. It is simply because He wants His Angels in heaven with Him. I also thought about who would look out for me and encourage me with whatever I decided to do in my life. Little did I know that I already had that person by my side, and that person is my father. He was a good son, brother, and, husband and especially a wonderful father. He was left with two daughters, ages ten and twelve years old. These are difficult ages for girls to be. But he was great at it. He took in my grandmother after she was in a bad accident. She had one of her legs amputated. So now he has three people totally depending on him, but he was strong enough to take care of all of us. We still live with him, and he is still there for us. I find that I can't speak about my mother without speaking about my father or speak about my father without speaking about mom. Now my father is both, father and mother, and I love them both very much!
