Before my encounter with Jesus, I was a fearful person. I always
thought about the time when my parents would die. Whenever I heard
the siren of the ambulances I thought something had happened to my
parents, my sisters and my brother. I was afraid of death and to
be alone in this world. When I got married I continued having fears
of losing my husband and my children.
One night I was worried because my husband did not come home and
it was too late. I got down on my knees and I began to pray. I asked
to God to take my life handle it, change it and also to change my
thoughts. Even though I had grown up with catholic parents and my
fathers had thought me about Jesus, I did not know Him, but that
night I felt the presence of God like I had never felt before. That
night I had a real encounter with God, because I began to have hunger
and thirst for Him.
Now, I can say that I can feel secure and protected
knowing that God cares for me and my whole family. I know that Jesus
had the victory
over death and He gave me abundance of life. |
