I would like to share with you an experience I had when I was a student.

It was almost 30 years ago. I worked at a textile factory in Russia. It was a time, when all people at the factory were nervous. They waited for Japanese specialists that had sold machines to the factory and were coming to inspect our performance with these machines. Managers thought of what
they could do to improve productivity and surprise the Japanese specialists.

There were about hundred women at the factory, women of about 40. They were strong, fat woman and they worked hard. Everyone had to serve 5 or 6 looms. During the day, they must have run tens of miles.

At the time when I came to the factory the managers had decided to put all woman on the roller skates. It should make their work easier, but you cannot imagine what happened! Woman could not even stand on the roller skates, not work. My job was to help them move from one machine to another. Productivity fell dramatically and the roller skates were abolished.

It was most ridiculous, funny job that I've ever had.
