Fishing Times

Fishing is interesting because of all the fun things that happen and that you see. I have seen a fawn swimming from one end of a lake to another, no kidding. Also, while out in the boat there were two beavers circling the boat that scared me, because it was at night and I couldn't see All I could do was hear them splashing.

Fishing is also interesting because the fish do really dumb things like one time I was fishing and I took a break. My line wasn't even in the water when I had a shiner (a tiny fish) on the hook, and it was just hanging there. All of a sudden a pickerel jumped out of the water and hooked itself.

I even caught a water moccasin while I was goofing off at the water's edge. I was standing there dangling my line with a shiner, and the water moccasin slithered his head out of the water and grabbed it. As you see fishing is interesting!
