Feelingz behind barz

Being in jail it getz lonely at night,
Waiting for letters that no one will write.
Depending on people I thought were my friendz,
And waiting for picturez that nobody sendz.

Sitting around with nothing to do,
But realizing though who'z really who.
Finding out heartz are made of stone,
And now realizing I'm truly alone.

Waiting for visitz that never take place,
From my so-called people thatz forgotten my face.
Wondering how my time could move so slow,
How my prayerz are answered but the answer iz no.

The dreamz your selling are fading and dying,
And when you say you're my man, son I know that your lying.
So I'll do thiz time with my head held high,
And I'll keep my pride till the day that I die.

So when you see me on the streetz, act like we're far
Because I'll never forget my feelingz that I had behind barz
