Thought of not having a future

THE thought of not having a future brings tears, like some people and first time prisoners who's trapped in life and bound in cages like me. I was trapped in Life, not knowing where life was taking me. My GOAL was the STREETS my future was "PRISON" my "HOPE" and "FAITH" bound in cages with no light, seeing the same face, hoping one day it all goes away. But today I "SMILE" and I also "CRY" knowing I have another chance at "LIFE." I cry for my family and the people I've "HARMED." I smile for joy and what I have "BECOME". My life reflects around my "CHILD." My mind stays with positive thinking, I've took the streets out of me and put it where it's suppose to be "BENEATH ME". Now I've broken the bonds and shattered the cages, now my future is "NEAR" no more "DREAM" of "FEAR" as I sit back and wipe away my future "TEARS"

YOURS TRULY,

MARVIN HARRIS
